"MAI? No thanks...!" On-Line Library

(The library is under new management.)

Thanks to Global Trade Watch the January 1997 draft text of the Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI), which is being negotiated by the member states of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), was made public in spring 1997. Further draft versions have been made available during 1997 by other sources, the last one, dated February 1998, finally by the OECD itself.

    except that the footnotes have been removed because many countries
    seem to want to keep their specific objections and exceptions confidential...
